As stated in the earlier post, the tree is the foundation of the saddle and the material of Tad Coffin's saddles make for more comfortable saddles for the horses. While a horse is in motion, it's back flexes and moves in many different directions, thus the saddle needs to do the same. The tree used in Tad Coffin Saddles are engineered to flex so there's, "less tension, greater forward movement, improved forward straightness, better bending, increased relaxation, more engagement, and freer shoulder motion." To be more specific than the previous post, the plastic material is acrylic alloy material with carbon fiber reinforcements.
